Thinking of standing in local or general elections? British Independents is embarking on a five year campaign to have elected members in both local and national government. We have policies that reflect the true aspirations of the majority of our citizens and a credible brand to challenge the old parties.

We can arrange nomination papers to include our logo on the ballot paper, as well as providing templates for your election material. Nomination papers presented to returning officers must be the ORIGINAL document signed by our Nominating Officer. You will need a proposer and a seconder, as well as a minimum of eight additional nomination signatures on your nomination form. The signatories must live in your ward or constituency and must have the latest electoral register codes entered alongside on the form. A copy of the electoral register for your area is available from your local council.

Forms are available from your council offices or from the Electoral Commission's website.

If you want to be part of the Peaceful revolution, check out our policies and our membership terms on this site.
